I have always wanted to learn to speak German. Judy has made the task enjoyable and much easier than I had imagined. I am looking forward to traveling through Germany. Judy has helped me to fulfill one of my life long objectives!
Doug McLaughlin, Guelph, Ontario
Judy has made learning German fun and exciting. We have learned practical language mixed with personal experience-which has made learning German fun to relate to!

It was very convenient to be able to meet with you twice a week in order to practice the conversational part of the French language that I admire so much. You have made me a great outline for specific subjects in that little three months course. I am definitely benefiting of that right now during my travels. You also provided a friendly atmosphere with no stress lessons!!!
It is important especially when learning is not just the first priority and I had my whole family tasks to fulfill as well.
I am very grateful to you for giving me that refreshment course in French that was a pleasure to follow through. I hope we will meet again in the months to come.
Best Regards,
Thanks a lot,
Anna Bacciarelli
I like German because it is an easy language and I have a nice teacher. Her name is Judy.
Judy is very enthusiastic and funny. I like the German alphabet because some of the letters are different. When I will go to Germany, I will know some German already.

Judy was a great teacher who was very open to changing her course of teaching to suit my needs. Her willingness to let me dictate the pace and direction of study made it much easier for me to learn. She was very flexible during individual lessons and over the duration of our sessions. She was also very resourceful, drawing on a number of different sources to expose me to different aspects of written and spoken French. In the end, my ability to speak, write, and read in French all improved a great deal.
A bientôt,

I started with Judy 8 months ago knowing very little French. Now, I am at the Intermediate level. I can read short stories and do small conversations. I am moving to Québec and now I feel much more confident and comfortable using French.
Thanks,

I started working with Judy 1 month ago, knowing “petit peu” (very little) French. With Judy’s excellent knowledge, pace and style of teaching, I am now functional in the language. I feel comfortable and confident having small conversations with the locals in Montréal. I would recommend Judy to anyone who wants to study French!

I like how you teach French in a fun way: like doing “Bingo” French, the weather game,…stuff like that. I liked looking at Paris Power Point slide show and naming stuff! I liked singing the French songs. I have learned lots of things like: colors, the date, numbers, and clothing…in French. I like this French class.
Alexie, Age 12, K-W
I like learning the weather and playing the weather game. I am also learning basic sentences , the numbers from 0-20 and the colors in French. I liked the slide show on Madame Judy’s laptop, the pictures…when she went to Paris. I also liked the classroom objects list.
Matthew R., Age 12, K-W
I liked the games, Numbers, months, days of the week, colors, weather, Bingo clothing, food song, and classroom objects in French. I am very happy I did this because it was fun and I can do better in school now. French is fun to do. I would like to do it again.
Florence, Age 12, K-W
What I like about studying German? I think it’s a very interesting language. I excel at it too. Plus it is a much better experience when you learn One-on-One. It helps you focus. I really enjoy it.

Dear Judy,
I am writing you to thank you for your time and patience during my French tutoring. I am in France now and I am able to order my meals and ask for directions as well as have short conversations. I am very interested in resuming my lessons once I return to Canada in December. The sentence structure and phrasing work we did together have helped me a lot. I am able to put sentences together and my vocabulary has improved a lot. I have had several French Tutors during my short time in training and I am very pleased to tell you that the training I received from you was the best. Even my manager, who is French, was impressed with your intonation and accent. He told me that out of all my instructors I had, you spoke the best French.
Merci beaucoup,
Rick Gambling, Process/Production Manager

I think German is a very interesting language and that Germany has a historic and rich culture. I have found Judith to be extremely knowledgeable about both the language and the culture. In terms of the language she has helped me greatly in making my way through my university German course. As well, receiving first hand information from someone who has lived and gone to school in Germany adds a level of application that is hard to find. I would definitely recommend Judith’s tutoring to anyone interested in learning German.
