How We Teach at Tiger Tutoring Service:

Tiger Tutoring Service is unique because it has interactive learning. The student interacts with the Tutor, One-on-One, through Skype or e-mail. Interactive learning is based on instant learning, depending on the student’s interest. Whether the topics are travel, family or greetings, spontaneous dialogues will help the student to develop instant learning in the language. The student’s profession and intent for learning are considered in the learning process. The student may be a florist, a taxi driver, carpenter, architect, plant manager, businessman, businesswoman, shepherd, farmer, tourist guide, hotel manager, nurse, or hairdresser – the student’s profession and personal interests are considered in the lessons.

“The Quick Tiger Vocabulary Phrase Guide” will help the student to have topic-related vocabulary for reference. Also the prepared Lessons will help the student to cover small grammatical points in context. Come and join our language learning without stress or traditional painful language evaluation. My Philosophy of Teaching:

My philosophy of teaching is based on interpersonal/conversational language learning. The teaching of French and German is focused on instant student learning through purposeful dialogues in which the student learns the language in context. The student has a unique experience because every single lesson is unique to its kind. The student develops the feeling for the French or German language through: pronunciation, conversational dialogue learning, and learning how to think in the language being taught.

The overseas student will have interactive One-on-One lessons with the Tutor through Skype and e-mail and the student in Kitchener-Waterloo will have One-on-One Tutoring in person.

German Basics I (Beginner’s German)
German Basics II (Beginner’s German with some knowledge)
German Intermediate (knowledge of Basics)
German Advanced (knowledge of intermediate level)

Curriculum or Language Program:

The program is designed according to the student’s needs. The course outline/syllabus will be tailored according to the student’s interests. There is a general course outline available for students to check out some topics in the Basics Course. The student will find information on homework, attendance, topics/flexible topics and lesson commitment from both parties (student and tutor).
